Heat provides weekly celebrity gossip and big secrets celebrities are hiding. 

3) What other content does Heat magazine offer its readers aside from celebrity news?

Heat Magazine also offers fashion ideas ' Wear It's At ' and Life Hacks. 

4) What other content does Heat magazine offer its readers aside from celebrity news?

Contains ' The Unmissables ' which covers entertainment and media, interesting TV stories. 

Media Language: 

1) How are the cover lines written to make the audience want to buy the magazine?

They use some of the most famous celebrities, known figures and use small piece of text with bold colours contrasting with the image which attracts people. They use images in the background as well. 

2) What are the connotations of the Heat colour scheme on this particular front cover?

The colour scheme uses lots of pink which is linked to women meaning this magazine appeals to the women audience. The colour yellow is a bold colour which pops out to audience more.

3) How are images used to create interest in the magazine?

The images used in the magazine contain a range such as their gossip about known celebrities. It is packed with images making audience and readers more interested in buying the magazine. 

4) What differences can you find between the use of design and typography? 

The title is written in a serif font to create a more sophisticated look possibly linking to the known celebrities. While cover lines and subheadings are written in a san serif font which is more modern which is more bold. The cover lines are written in contrasting and bold colours. While Tatler uses an overall serif font to be more classy to appeal to the upper class audience and is more calm while Heat has many images and is overcrowded.

Media Representations:

1) What type of celebrities appear on the front cover of Heat?

The type of celebrities which appear on the front cover are pop culture people who are related to music or acting career such as Liam Payne.

2) How are celebrities represented in Heat?

Celebrities are caught in daily, more realistic life with not notice of paparazzi which appeals to the audience. For example, Megan and Harry are caught looking in shame and embarrassment which may mean audience is more attracted. Victoria Beckham is looking rushed and caught wearing a more daily outfit which many middle class people wear daily.  

3) How are women represented on the cover of Heat?

Women are shown to be the cause of more problematic relationships such as Victoria Beckham being the large face of her crumbling relationship with David Beckham or Liam Payne being much more smaller compared to Cheryl. 

4) How do Heat and Tatler represent social class? What different social classes can you find in the features and celebrities on the cover?

Heat appeals to more middle and working class while Tatler explores more elegant people which appeals to the upper class with more money which talks about people they can relate to.
